April 2018 Newsletter

Our next General Membership meeting will be Monday, April 2, 2018 at 7:30 pm at the Indoor Range at 853 Ransom Road.  As always, the printable version of the newsletter can be downloaded by clicking this link.

•   Thank you to each and every one of our members who helped out at the Sectional match last month. We hosted competitors from Monroe, Niagara, Erie, Chautauqua, Genesee and Livingston Counties. The income from the match helps to keep the dues as low as they are and each member’s efforts to help Ten X put its best foot forward helps to bring back these shooters year after year.

•  The Suburban Pistol League and Niagara Frontier Pistol Leagues ended in March. The Club and several members are up for league awards this year, so we are looking to fill at least one full table at the League Banquet. The league banquet will be Saturday April 28, 2018. Tickets are $25.00 each and can be bought from Al Hopkins and Jim Gerstung. The banquet is at Kotecki’s Grandview Grove at 4685 Seneca Street, West Seneca.

•  At this month’s meeting, the Indoor Range Committee will present its priority action items for a vote. The Committee met on March 20 to talk about projects that should be started this year. There will probably be motions and votes about a budget for these projects. As always, we are looking for helpers to joint the Committee and help out with the various projects.

•  Tuesdays and Thursdays are now open practice nights. We hope to move our organized practices to the outdoor range by the first full week of May. More information on our summer schedule will be discussed at the meeting.

•  On April 15, the gate combination at the outdoor range will be changed.  For security reasons, the combination code is not published here or found on our website.  Members will receive a paper newsletter this month with the combination code and the 2018 member roster.

Good shooting,
