2018 Indoor Sectional National Results Published

Ten X was proud to host the 2018 Indoor Sectional Championship match this past March.  The preliminary results of our match were posted here after the match.  We hosted a total of 24 competitors from as far west as Jamestown and as far east as Rochester.

This past week, the NRA Competitions Division posted their preliminary national results.  A copy of the preliminary precision pistol results can be downloaded by clicking here.  We found a couple of interesting data points: there were a total of 1,059 competitors nation-wide.  Our own Club President placed 34th overall, 13th among Master classified shooters.  Boston Valley Conservation Club’s Rick Powers placed 22nd among Master classified shooters, 55th overall.  Twin City’s Chris Thiel placed 24th among Expert classified shooters.  In all, a very strong showing of competitors from New York and New Jersey:  remarkable for states known to have the most restrictive handgun laws.

Only one local team was fielded, which is unfortunate because in years past we were able to host four or five teams.  The National preliminary team results can be downloaded by clicking here.

The challenge period began on August 28 and will end on September 11.

We hope to see everyone, and more new shooters, this spring when we host the 2019 Indoor Sectional Championships!
