March 2019 Newsletter

The next general membership meeting will be held on
March 4, 2019 at 7:30 PM at 853 Ransom Road, Lancaster.

● We are hosting the NRA Conventional Pistol Sectional from Friday March 1 to Sunday March 3. We will need volunteers. Members may sign up for volunteer slots on our web I am page under the Volunteer Sign-Up tab on the masthead. Our member’s commitment to Ten X makes us one of the premier clubs in the State and helps us to run a program that people want to come to year after year. Thank you to all our members who work to make us a great club to belong to.

● The Suburban Pistol ended the match season in February against Tonawanda Sportsmens Club. All of the season’s results are or will be posted on the website.

The NFPL season will continue though his month. The last set of matches are as follows:

March 7 vs. Bison City
March 14 at BR&R
March 21 vs. Clarence

● The SPL Year End 900 shoot will be held at our club on Tuesday March 19 at the regular time (7:30 pm). We will likely be using both ranges. This will be a fun year end 90-shot match following the sectional course of fire. All shooters are encouraged to shoot the match.

● The Ten X Youth Program continues to meet on the First and Third Friday of each month.  Program leader Matt Giansante reported that we won an NRA grant for a modular safe to store our equipment in.  This is a huge step for us.

● The Combined NFPL and SPL Awards Banquet will be Saturday April 27 at Kotecki’s Grandview Grove located on Seneca Street in West Seneca. Tickets, $25 per person, are available from Al Hopkins and Jim Gerstung and will be around only for a little bit. Unsold tickets must be returned to the League by the end of March. Please consider going even if you didn’t shoot one match. It means a lot to your fellow club members that we show interest in the league and what our members are doing.

As always, a printable PDF version of this newsletter can be downloaded by clicking this link.

Good shooting,

Peter Vasilion
