July 2019 Update

JULY 2019 UPDATE

There will be no Meeting in July or August due to the summer holiday.  However, we wanted members to be up-to-date on what is happening with Club business.  Until September, we hope everyone enjoys a happy and safe Independence Day!

● The next General Membership meeting will be September 9, 2019.  The Indoor range continues to be open for group practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Precision pistol practices at the outdoor range over the summer on Thursday from approximately 6:00 pm to dusk. Steel Plate Challenge shooting is alternate Tuesdays (second and fourth) of the month also from 6:00 pm to dusk.

● The general membership voted last month on a number of important business items. The general membership voted to turn down an offer to obtain a used target retrieval system and tabled further expenditure on the indoor range ventilation capital improvement project pending a better financial plan. We also accepted two new members into our club and voted to have the indoor range parking lot sealed. We anticipate no new major business until the fall.

● Enclosed with the paper newsletter is the FINAL roster for 2019. Please keep the information in the roster within our club. It should be used to swap volunteer dates and other club related activities. Use it with care.

● Thank you to all out volunteers who helped at the June NRA Tournament. We had an above average number of shooters and great weather.

As always, a printable version of this newsletter may be downloaded by clicking this link.

Good shooting,
