Indoor Rifle Nights

I’m putting up this post to see what kind of interest we can generate in an indoor rifle night. I believe It would either be on Tuesday, or Friday nights and we would be working toward fielding a team in one of the Light Rifle/ Sporter Rifle Disciplines. The first few weeks will serve to gauge both interest and the size of the group that we can muster.

What you need to bring: a .22 Rifle, and appropriate ammo. Iron Sights, or Optics(scope) are allowed, but to fire for score, the rifle must weigh less than 7.5 pounds, (if your rifle is heavier than that, you are welcome to shoot alongside us, but cannot officially compete) Sporterifle does not need expensive equipment to participate in, and odds are, you already have own all the equipment you need. It will also help to attract new members to the club, as well as offer a good opportunity to bring your child(ren) to the club.

(but you will be required to purchase or co-register one later in the process) Applicants must have instruction in the safe handling of firearms from a certified instructor, and proof of such training must be submitted with the application. The NRA ‘Basic Pistol’ Course fills this requirement. If you have been arrested, or charged with any offense except minor traffic infractions (speeding or […]
