The March Newsletter is attached. The tables below are the current sign up sheets for workers at the 2010 Sectional. Club members are reminded that they have to work two events during the year and the Sectional will be our first major event. Spots are first-come-first-taken. Besides fulfilling your work requirement, it benefits the shooting sports in general. We are now accepting registrations for the Pistol Sectional, to be held on March 12-14, 2010. The Match Program is available elsewhere on this site. All registrations must be mailed to the Match Secretary — there is no “online” registration. However, all registrations will be reflected on the attached relay sheet immediately on receipt. Competitors please note: range positions are not assigned and the numbers in the attached sheet DO NOT correspond to any given position. Continue reading Competitor Squadding for 2010 Sectional The first general meeting of the New Year will be Monday January 4 at 8:00 p.m. The electronic version of the Newsletter is attached below. Good Shooting and Happy New Year! The Iroquois High School Varsity Rifle Team began its season last week with their first practices at our range. The team generally meets at our indoor range from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. There are no practices on Friday, school holidays, or any day that school is canceled due to weather. When the team is using the range, both ranges are reserved for their exclusive use — primarily for safety’s sake. If the team’s practices or matches run past 6:00 p.m., please have patience and understanding. We want to encourage the kids and ensure they have favorable opinions about guns, our club, and our members! Per our Constitution, any member who has been a member in good standing for at least one year, and who has attended half of the preceding year’s meetings, is eligible to run for an office. The official program is attached to this post. Competitors may begin signing up at any time. For club members, we will need many volunteers to make this event run smoothly. Of all of the shoots that we host each year, it is the largest. There will be more information posted about this later. |
