Ten-X Shooting Club is currently accepting new members.
The Following membership requirements must be met:
1.) Must be a citizen of the United States.
2.) Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
3.) Must be members of the National Rifle Association (or be willing to become a member).
4.) Applicants must attend three club events whether they be meetings, practices, work parties, or matches before they can be voted into membership. One of these events must be a general business meeting.
5.) Applicants must shoot at three organized practice shoots. Two at our indoor range and one at our outdoor range and must be signed off by our safety instructors.
Our indoor facilities consist of an indoor 2- 10-position fifty-foot (50′) target ranges for handgun and smallbore (.22 rimfire) rifles. Center fire handguns are permitted, and jacketed ammunition is only allowed at our downstairs range. High velocity, Ie. Magnum ammunition is strictly forbidden from the indoor range. In other words, lead reloads only in the upstairs range. Target carriers are pneumatically turned and electronically timed for consistent match conditions. We offer 24-hour card-controlled access to the indoor facility to members in good standing.
Our outdoor facility has a pistol range with 30 covered shooting positions with turning targets at 25 yards. We also have a 200-yard rifle range with berms at 100 and 200 yards. There are two shooting positions, covered, with benches.
Open bullseye practices are held every Tuesday night from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Practices in the winter are held at the indoor range, and once daylight cooperates, providing us with adequate shooting time, we move practices to the outdoor range for the summer.
Monthly business meetings are held every first Monday of the month. Downloadable applications are available on our website. Check out our club on the web! Meetings and winter practices are held at the indoor range at 853 Ransom Road in the Town of Lancaster, New York. The outdoor range is located in the Town of Newstead, near Akron. The address is not published here for security reasons. The address is provided to members.
