Ten X Shooting Club wins the 2018 Ed Rose Memorial Trophy.
The most prestigious trophy in the Suburban Pistol League was awarded to Ten X at the combined Suburban Pistol League and Niagara Frontier Pistol League awards banquet, held on April 28 2018. The Trophy is awarded to the team with the season’s best overall win/loss record in the League. This season, the Club finished in first place with 26 wins, 6 losses overall. Actual match wins were 10 to 6 actual losses. The Club was undefeated in handicap matches: 16 wins, no losses. This accomplishment is possible because he have so many members at all skill levels participating.
Ten X’s first place finish in the league broke a 26-year drought — the last time the Ed Rose Trophy resided at our club was in 1992. Before that year, Ten X won the Trophy in 1967, 1980, 1982, 1988, and 1990.
The trophy is named in honor of Ed Rose, who competed in the Suburban Pistol League until his passing in 1960.
