2020-2021 league shooting

Winter leagues will begin this week with the use of masks, social distancing and assigned range time.

– All NFPL and SPL Matches will be shot as “postal” and at home.

– You may shoot them alone, or with a friend, At any time prior to the match due date.

– Match due date will be 9:00 p.m. on Thursday for that weeks match.

– All NRA match conditions are to be followed.

– You must accept your score, even if it is not what you would like.

-Put your fee in the cash box (SPL – $2, NFPL – $3) , Print your name in the log book and indicate that it is for the league (ex. John Smith – SPL- $2)

– Print your name on your score card and targets and indicate what match it is for ( ex. John Smith – NFPL Week 1)

– Leave your score card AND targets on the sign in desk, they will be collected every Thursday night.

New Sheriff in town

The club record was broken again by our very own Joe McDonald. Joe was able to draw his firearm and hit 5 out of 5 steel targets in just 3.62 seconds. Nice shooting Joe !

New Club Record

Martin broke the club’s Steel challenge record (formerly held by Don K) at last nights event. Martin drew from a holster and recorded hits on five out of five steel targets of varying sizes, heights and distances in 3.81 seconds. Wow. Martin is at the outdoor range practicing every Tuesday night should you need some pointers.

Team Captains Report

Congratulations go out to Ten X’s own Doug Scranton for shooting his first 100 target at last night’s Suburban Pistol League Match. Doug finished with a combined score of 279 – 8X placing him second on the team behind only Peter. Peter shot a mere 295 – 9X. My compliments go out to each of these two competitors, nice shooting!
